Imperial City Campus (Pty) Ltd is proud to be associated with the King Cetshwayo Chess Association as a sponsor and supporter of Chess in the District. Imperial City Campus has sponsored the Inaugural Imperial City Campus KC Open that took place on 18 and 19 February 2023 at the Empangeni High School.
Imperial City Campus sponsored the following prizes for the Open Section:
· First Prize: A full Bursary to the value of R20 000 to study Part – Time (Saturdays) the following programme at Imperial City Campus: Further Education and Training Certificate: Leadership Development (1 year – 160 Credits – NQF 04) of the Faculty of Management and Administration.
· Second Prize: A fifty percent Bursary to the value of R10 000 to study Part – Time (Saturdays) the following programme at Imperial City Campus: Further Education and Training Certificate: Leadership Development (1 year – 160 Credits – NQF 04) of the Faculty of Management and Administration.
· Third Prize: A twenty – five percent Bursary to the value of R5 000 to study Part – Time (Saturdays) the following programme at Imperial City Campus: Further Education and Training Certificate: Leadership Development (1 year – 160 Credits – NQF 04) of the Faculty of Management and Administration.
The chess tournament was a success and Imperial City Campus shall be looking forward to sponsoring many more tournaments in the near future.
